Aston Villa have taken just two points from their last 21 games against the established top-six Premier League sides since beating Spurs in 2015.
Villa’s midweek draw against Sheffield United ended a run of four straight league defeats.
They can keep consecutive top-flight clean sheets for the first time since goalless home draws against Sunderland and Crystal Palace in December 2014 and January 2015.

Their only victory in the past eight league fixtures came at home to Watford on 21 January.
Dean Smith’s side would want to look up to talisman Jack Grealish for some more fire power.
Before the break, Chelsea had won two of three in the league, recording back-to-back home wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Everton to solidify our grip on fourth place.

The team’s form had been patchy through the winter, and those wins combined with eliminating Liverpool from the FA Cup, gave hope that the Blues were finding some consistency at long last.

The Blues currently sit two points clear of Manchester United following the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw at Tottenham on Friday night so Frank Lampard’s men can extend their advantage to five points with a win this afternoon.

That would put Chelsea firmly in pole position to secure a Champions League qualification place with just eight games remaining so this is an opportunity the West Londoners won’t want to pass up.
Aston Villa have lost nine of the past 10 H2H league meetings, winning the other at home in March 2014.

Chelsea’s current five-match winning league streak against Villa is their best in this fixture.
This is the 50th Premier League fixture between the clubs. Chelsea lead by 25 wins to Villa’s 12, with 12 draws.

Betwizad predicts a straight win for Chelsea (2) with the Lampard’s side winning at HT/FT (2/2).
Both sides are expected to score (GG) a total of over 2.5 goals.
