There is no requirement for players and coaching staff to have their masks on ahead of the start of the EPL but players will have maintain social distancing rules during goal celebration.
In a meeting held on Thursday, a list of strict rules and guidelines were set out for when the league resumes.
There will be no use of ball boys and girls, rather a system of sterilized replacement balls will be used.
The use of facemasks will be limited to the fourth official, as well as doctors and physios. A minute of silence will be observed to remember those who have died from the Corona virus before the first matches. Heart shaped badges will be worn on kits in tribute to frontline staff of NHS.
Entrance into the stadiums on matchdays will have strict limits as grounds will be split into zones including the tunnel and pitchside. A total of 300 people will be allowed in each stadium, which will have no more than 110 persons in the “red zone” including players, club staff and officials.
Extra precautionary motives will be in place, including disinfecting corner flags, goal posts, substitution board before and after each fixture. Clubs will be encouraged to use flights for farther away games to avoid excessive use of hotels.
Every coach and player will be temperature checked before they arrive at the stadium. Players will also have to hand sanitize before they enter and after they leave the field of play.
The league will resume on Wednesday 17th June when Aston Villa v Sheffield United, same day which champions Manchester City host Arsenal.
