Juventus have confirmed the signing of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina.
Vlahovic has been one of the most in-demand players in Europe over the past month, and his arrival is a significant coup for Juve. He has been in terrific form this season, firing himself to the top of the Serie A scoring charts with 17 goals in just 21 games.
He will take the number 7 shirt last worn by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arsenal had also been keen to sign him, but the player turned down their advances and will now link up with Max Allegri’s side.
Finding the back of the net has been a real problem for Juventus this season with every top-half Serie A side scoring more than them thus far. This lack of clinical edge is one of the reasons that they are fifth in the table, a full 11 points off leaders Inter who also have a game in hand.
