It is understood Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of Romelu Lukaku and increasingly earmarked him as a player to pursue several weeks ago. Tuchel’s presence is thought to be a significant factor in Lukaku having a change of heart this summer.
It is now just a matter of time as well as the small matter of Chelsea agreeing to pay a fee in excess of £100M.
