THREE NEW POSITIVE CASES OF CORONAVIRUS CONFIRMED IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Results from the latest round of coronavirus tests in the Championship have returned, with three individuals from two clubs failing to test negative.

Results from the latest round of coronavirus tests in the Championship have returned, with three individuals from two clubs failing to test negative.

The persons who identities are undisclosed will now self-isolate in line with the guidelines provided by the EFL for a minimum of seven days pending when symptoms are gone.


Over the past week, 2858 players and club staff from the 24 Championship clubs were tested, and only those who have tested negative will be permitted to enter training ground facilities.


The EFL also confirmed that it received zero positive tests for coronavirus from the eight League One and League Two clubs still embroiled with the playoffs, with 297 and 271 individuals being tested in the past weeks for the past week respectively.
