Gareth Southgate as extended his contract been the England national team coach. The new contract would see him be in charge of The Lion till December 2024.
His former contract was due to expire after the world cup in Qatar.
The 51 year old led England to Euro 2020 Final for the first time in 55years and a semi-final place at the last world cup.
Southgate along with his Assistant Steve Holland did extended there contract.
They took over from Sam Allardyce back in September 2016 on a caretaker base before landing the job fully 2 months later.
“It remains an incredible privilege to lead this team. We have a great opportunity in front of us,” he said.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the players and support team for their hard work,” Southgate said.
“I know they and the fans are all excited about what this squad could achieve in future.”
