Spurs were the only team to win all three of their Premier League matches during October, which marked the first time they had maintained a 100% record through an entire month in Postecoglou’s short time in charge.
Tottenham’s October began with a scrappy 1-0 win at Luton Town prior to the international break. Postecoglou’s side were reduced to ten men just before half-time when Yves Bissouma picked up two yellow cards, but Micky van de Ven scored the winning goal early in the second half as Spurs went top of the Premier League.
After the October internationals, Tottenham returned to action with a 2-0 triumph at home to Fulham, with Son Heung-min and James Maddison grabbing the goals. Four days later, they saw out a 2-1 victory away at Crystal Palace, with a Joel Ward own goal and Son strike ensuring they ended the month with three wins from three.
Postecoglou has proven to be a popular appointment at Tottenham after joining the club in the summer from Celtic, with Spurs now a club united on all levels off the back of a miserable 2022/23 season.
Uani Emery, Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp were also nominated after going unbeaten with Aston Villa, Arsenal and Liverpool respectively.
